About Me

Ankur Patel is passionate about property and people. His decision to make real estate his life work began when he started a quest to purchase a home for himself in Auckland several years ago. Now as a licensed real estate salesperson, Ankur gets to help people from all walks of life and especially first home buyers – a privilege for him. He loves to help buyers secure the dream home they’ve been searching for and his fluency in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi adds another string to his bow when talking with people from a diversity of cultures.

With a Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Ankur followed other family members to New Zealand from India in 2010. Once he’d received his post-graduate diploma from Unitec also in Computer Engineering, Ankur hit the ground running with a successful career in website design and then in customer service for several Caltex service stations. Ultimately promoted as regional manager developing the business and managing their IT, he ran this in tandem with another service industry client. Now as a salesperson at Harcourts New Windsor, Ankur plans to utilise his skills to serve his community in the buying and selling of real estate in and around the Auckland region.

His background and skill set equips Ankur well for the day-to-day rigours and high-octane world of marketing property. He has always been a people person and his candour, warm manner and empathy is appreciated by all. Ankur has the knack of securing the best price for his clients – many of whom he has known for years. Marketing savvy and with a depth of knowledge around social media and online marketing, Ankur manages his campaigns with confidence communicating back to his vendors so they are kept fully informed.

A family man who loves to spend time socialising and movie-going with friends and relatives, Ankur’s other passions are cricket and travel.
